The original mantel is in place and offers a glimpse of the home's history. A lovely natural stained wood staircase leads to the second level.

THE LIBRARY
   To the left of the center hallway you will find a welcoming library with wonderful built in book shelves and a raised hearth brick fireplace which was rebuilt in the mid 1960s. This 15' 7" x 15' room boasts the original  5 inch width pine plank flooring. This is certainly a room which has seen a great deal of life and laughter over it's 261 years here at Meadowbrook Farm. This room was originally the kitchen for the log home. This room has a wonderful ambiance and is a place where the owners are certain to spend a great deal of time. A massive grand piano which stood in the left front corner which over the years left the evidence of it's position with the now sloped floor in this corner. History abounds at Meadowbrook Farm!


THE PARLOR
   This room is also part of the original log home. This pretty room was used by the present owner as a formal dining room. but is well suited as a formal living room, home office or potential main floor bed room. It boasts the original random width pine plank flooring which measure  from five to nine inches in width. These floors are in beautiful condition. There is a built in cabinet perfect for your keepsakes and family heirlooms.

THE FORMAL DINING ROOM

   The master bedroom is part of the original log home as well as bedroom number two. The master bedroom offers a standard closet and also a walk closet that was formerly a porch which has now been enclosed. This area provides for a "back stair case" which leads to the ground level enclosed storage room which houses dual above ground oil tanks.

THE BARN

  The bank barn measures 60' x 36' and the log floor joists are visible.
